  Description:
    Abstract: The document from which this figure comes is the first range-wide assessment of greater sage-grouse (Centrocercus urophasianus) using the vast amount of data collected since the 1950's. And the chapter from which it comes attempts to synthesize all the information presented.  The value is in the data presented that can now be used to advance our understanding of the ecology of sagebrush-dominated landscapes and species that depend upon them.  This figure shows the trend in populations for sage-grouse leks with respect to I80 in Wyoming and northeastern Utah.
    Purpose:
      This figure shows population trends for the Greater Sage-grouse with respect to I80 within Wyoming and northeastern Utah.
      This dataset was created for the Conservation Assessment for Greater Sage-grouse and Sagebrush Habitats.

      Process_Description: Distance of active leks from I-80 in Wyoming and northeastern Utah was determined in kilometers.  The distribution of 804 leks within 100km of I-80 were examined.  Authors used data to determine the population trends for leks in relation to their distance from I-80.
