It is a portion of chapter 5: Sagebrush Ecosystems: Dynamics of Primary Sagebrush Habitats in the larger document:  Conservation and Assessment of Greater sage-grouse and Sagebrush Habitat.     Purpose: To supply a visualization of the three plant associations and how they are affected by percent juniper cover and percent sagebrush cover.  As juniper cover increases, sagebrush cover decreases in all three associations.
