  Description:
    Abstract: Greater sage-grouse (Centrocercus urophasianus) have been declining for at least 25 years (Brahn 1995).  Connelly et al. (2003) indicated monitoring was a major component of a sage-grouse monitoring program.  This conservation assessment attempted to collect all information on current sage-grouse monitoring programs.  Figure 6.28 graphs changes in  lek size (males per lek) in Utah from 1965-2003.  Figure 6.29 graphs these changes by 5-year intervals for greater sage-grouse for the same years.
    Purpose:
      These figures document the changes in  lek size (# of males per lek) for the greater sage-grouse in Utah from 1965-2003.
      This dataset was created for the Conservation Assessment for Greater Sage-grouse and Sagebrush Habitats.
